Biography
Elizabeth L. Tyler was born in Ohio around 1891. (1) She worked in domestic service in Washington, D.C. prior to joining the White House staff around 1944. (2) There, she worked on the West Wing’s night cleaning force. (3) She continued on staff through at least 1950, but at this time, further information about her life and tenure is limited. (4)
