See Adrian Miller's The President's Kitchen Cabinet; Served as presidential food service coordinator. Achieved rank of navy commander. Typically cooked for the first family for Thanksgiving holdiday, at Camp David, and on international trips. Jackson supervised Thanksgiving meals, which were prepared by the White House Mess staff.
