- Ada Brundson was born in England in 1892. She immigrated to the United States in 1909. The following year, she was recorded in the 1910 Census as a “cooks helper” at the White House. She does not appear on an organizational staff chart of the White House recorded the following year. Brundson’s life outside of the White House remains unclear.1
