- From at least 1929 to 1932, a man named A.C. Jones worked at the White House on assignment from the Office of Buildings and Public Parks. He worked under the supervision of Head Gardener Charles Henlock and likely assisted with the maintenance of the White House gardens and grounds. (1) Jones may have worked at the White House earlier or later than the Hoover years, but further information about his life and career is scarce. (2)
