- Willard D. “DeDe” Creasey was born on January 15, 1918, in Roanoke, Virginia. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Washington, D.C. (1) For at least some of his service, he was assigned to the White House Garage, as he appears on the 1944 White House staff roster. The exact length of his tenure is unclear, and further information about his life and career is limited. (2) Willard Creasey died on February 6, 2005, and was buried at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia. (3)
