- Pearl E. Eagleberger was born in Norton, Kansas on September 29, 1887. (1) He worked as a mechanic in Denver, Colorado prior to moving to Washington, D.C. (2) Eagleberger worked at the White House from 1938-1958 as an engineer. There, he maintained and repaired air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems under the supervision of chief engineer John E. Hiser. (3) Eagleberger died on December 10, 1958, and was buried at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland. (4)
