- William Bernard Junghans was born on December 5, 1904, in Washington, D.C. (1) He worked as a painter for various companies and contractors over the years. (2) Between 1943-1944, he worked at the Franklin D. Roosevelt White House in the Paint Shop. (3) It is currently unclear if he worked at the White House beyond those years, but the 1950 Census listed William Junghans as a painter at the Navy Yard. (4) He died on January 8, 1966, and was buried at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland. (5)
