Milton W. Frame

Milton Wilford Frame was born on August 16, 1942 in Front Royal, Virginia.¹ He graduated from John S. Mosby Academy in 1960, and subsequently joined the White House staff. Initially, Frame worked in the Bouquet Room, arranging florals for events including State Dinners.² Later, he transitioned to the White House Carpenter Shop, where his father Wilford Frame was also employed.³ White House Carpenters construct furniture, stages, display cases, and other items for use onsite, and take on other tasks as needed including laying tile, installing windows and doors, repairing floors and locks, and more. 

Milton Frame retired in 1997 after thirty-seven years on staff.⁴ He passed away on March 24, 2019 and was buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal, Virginia.⁵
